About NRSL BETA

What is the National Rowing and Sculling League?
The NRSL is a quantitative ranking system which awards points to every rower who competes in the most important regattas, either indoor on the Concept 2 machine or on the water. The formula for points is based on the level of competition (for example, Senior Trials vs. the Club Nationals), performance relative to the gold medal standard (for example, 8 seconds behind the GMS for a particular race), and performance relative to other rowers in the regatta (for example, finished 6th of 23). The NRSL can be fairly applied to both men and women including Juniors, Masters, Open and Elite in all boat classes.
This is the BETA version of the website with more exciting additions to come. For this first version we decided to concentrate on the performance of "Elite" level rowers in significant U.S. regattas/indoor rowing during 2015. Your thoughts and comments are welcome!
